Human beings; so fascinating, as incredible as they are disappointing. This dual feeling that attracts and repels me in equal measure from my fellow humans is the driving force behind my endless desire to better understand human nature. An unquenchable furnace built on anthropological and sociological studies, fueled daily by an insatiable curiosity and a perpetual dissatisfaction of simple answers. While I find pleasure in writing, occasionally, for the sheer joy of entertainment, most of my themes revolve around the investigation of human nature, identity, resilience, societal norms, and the search for meaning.
My restless and curious spirit has led me to explore multiple arts and meet thousands of people. Once I learned the basics of a new discipline, I would move on to a new experience. This journey allowed me to create sculptures, rock out in bands, perform on theater stages, direct short films, host radio shows, and get people dancing in nightclubs. While I haven't mastered any of these, one thing remained constant: my natural attitude for communicating with an audience and telling stories. Perhaps storytelling is the one thing I'm truly good at, as countless people have told me. I've decided to listen to them.
Dedicating myself to a single literary genre would be disrespectful to all the experiences and people I've encountered. To tell their (and my) story, I need to move freely through different writing styles. For this reason, speculative fiction suits my narrative best, although sometimes character development might resemble literary fiction. No boundaries then! Only some preferences: Science Fiction, Dystopian, and Mystery, but also Contemporary and Slice of Life, with some elements of Horror and Crime. From the bus stop to the edge of the expanding universe. Flash fiction, short stories, and novellas, because I don't like to drag things out. The game is more fun when it doesn't last too long.
